well, we have finally decided on a boy’s name. of course, i’m not divulging it, but it was on the list and it’s not my favorite (which was jasper,) but i do like it a lot. it’s even becoming more of a favorite than jasper clayton was. of course, we may be having a girl so all of this back and forth between me and daddyjay about a boy’s name could have been for naught. the girls don’t like the name, but we’ve explained that they don’t get to pick. and the bug says it in the cutest way.
now, we have to come up with a hebrew name for the boy’s name. here’s where i’ll ask for help from the rabbis at temple. since the girl’s name we have picked out is the one we were going to use when the boy was born, we’ll keep it. we already have a hebrew name for that one.
if, indeed, it is a boy, i’m not particularly looking forward to another bris. mainly because of the circumcision, not the religious ceremony.
i do love naming my children. this has been tons of fun. baby agrees and is kicking contentedly.
