one down, three to go

15 Jan

(there be poop-talk here.)

prunes are my new hero.

miss james feels much better, thank you very much.

like, up to her shoulders good.

too bad we had to leave in 5 minutes to get the girls to school on time.
and she had to have a bath.
and justice refused to change his wet shirt.
and i had to tie scout’s shoes.

did i mention it is 1 degree outside?

still, things are better, since the babe is better.

If I live to be onehundredandseventythree, Poop will always be funny.

    Constipation? Not so much.

Prunes should come with a Cape.

oh, we had a true pooptastic love affair with prunes in our house for quite some time….

And we only have three wee ones here, but two went down with influenza–our four year old actually has a rap now that goes something like “in-flu-enza is what I got and it made me feel bad a lot” (such impressive rhyming skills, no?) so I totally understand where you are coming from. And as soon as everyone got well, the baby started cutting not one, not two, but five teeth at once. Needless to say, mama is not sleeping. And the ol’ nursies are darn near sucked into prunes themselves. Sigh. At the end of the day though, sitting with my littles on the couch for our nightly story, cuddled under a blanket to combat that awful -25 outside (seriously), on deep breath from me and a few happy sighs from them, and well, it’s all wonderful again.

Prunes were a bit hit around here when D was younger, too.

Good you are now on my Google Reader. Finally! It’s good to have a computer that works again. Ahhh.

I hope everyone’s feeling better…and yes, for a whopping high of 7*F! Yay. I mean, it would be *bearable* with snow…but I don’t see any of that falling… Stay Warm!
