13 Feb

i was going to bed nervous about what tomorrow was going to bring.

i was excited to be a mama.

i was thrilled about the thought of not being pregnant anymore.

i was anxious to hold mah bebes.

i was proud of myself for carrying 2 babies 38 weeks with no complications.

i was happy to get rid of the extra 70 lbs i had hanging on to me. (hey, don’t judge. there were 2 babies in there, i had recently decided against vegetarianism, and dave thomas of wendy’s had died and i was very loyal to my red-headed french fry hawker.)

scout and jilly were only ideas as we were surprised about their flavor. we had 3 names ready for girls and only one we really loved for a boy (justice has it now.) we were sweating that other boy’s name. the second one was baxter lammlein. although i really like the name, i was really hating that stupid meow mix commercial with the dude who has a cat named baxter that calls him on the phone to bring more meow mix home. that third girl’s name wasn’t used. we came up with jamison when justice was born, but that name was clayton celia. i really like it, too, but all of my kids have the right name. and nectarine is pretty stoked i didn’t use clayton.

my beautiful first born daughters are going to be 7 and i can’t believe it. they flip me upside down and inside out every day and night.

sister pretzel

i’m tired, delirious, and thrilled at what tomorrow brings. much like i was 7 years ago.

7 is a magical time young ladies. It’s a lucky Number for a reason. I think the Buddhists claimed it or some such, but they definitely got the Idea from watching the magic that is a 7 year old child.
