in the membrane

12 Feb

my sister called me yesterday afternoon & quickly asked, “has mom called you?”

when i told her no, she said, “rae has a brain tumor.”

then, my home phone rang.

it was my mom, of course.

my niece, rae, is a 24 year-old mother to an adorable tow-headed boy just a month younger than my miss james. she had been having headaches & when her doctor found nothing she requested a CAT scan because of a family history of cancer. you see, her sister had ovarian cancer when she was 9.

key word: HAD. she is a cancer survivor and we hope the best for her baby sister. if you believe in anything: karma, good vibes, happy thoughts, prayer, could you send some our way?

Good vibrations on the way, am setting up more prayer flags at the base camp.

Love to all, and blessings, too.

    Peace,

Praying for your niece and for her family. Good for her for requesting more tests when she knew something wasn’t right.
